Swarm Removal

Swarms are groups of bees that are on the move in search of a new home. This usually occurs in the spring time but can actually happen at anytime of year in Brazoria County.

Swarms can be found almost anywhere and sometimes can form in trees, water meter boxes, electrical boxes and under overhangs. The bees are typically very gentle but could easily fall from the area if disturbed. If you see a swarm, give us a call, we can get the swarm relocated easily to a safe place before the bees decide to make it more permanent which will only complicate the process. We advise that you do not disturb or attempt to spray a swarm with anything as this could easily upset the bees and make the removal difficult or completely undesirable for the beekeeper.
